My proudest achievement so far is to be back in school to study Marketing. I have a bachelor degree in Social Communication in Brazil.  I moved to Canada in 2017, and got my first Canadian diploma in Business Excellence last year and I've completed a successful co-op program that brought me a promotion as a supervisor in the same year. Now, I am studying marketing, I am back to my original career path. Looking forward to the new experiences and opportunities that are yet to come.

Marketing is a very social career. I love to interact with people, understand their needs and establish an outstanding communication process. Marketing is the soul of the business. There are a lot of job opportunities and marketing is one of the fastest growing opportunities. Also because of the flexibility it provides as a career. If you are a good professional you can work from anywhere in the world because the skills are applicable universally.

My dream job would allow me to develop my skills, to have more challenges and to learn more about the marketing industry here in North America. I am really passionate about getting to know new cultures and people and bringing this to new marketing opportunities. I believe in the power of great communication, how it could make a difference in people lives. I would love to have an experience in a start-up, where I could find a very nice work-life balance, I could contribute with my multicultural background and creative solutions.

I believe in the power of what the new generation is bringing to the marketing industry. I am part of this new conception. I am an innovative communication professional with demonstrated strategic and tactical stakeholder-engagement and customer-service expertise.

Canadian work experience is one of the biggest challenges that I face when I am applying for internships. I have international experience in corporate communications, but I still feel like this is not enough for the Canadian workplace.

I really admire Silvio Santos as one of the most successful leaders. Originally named Senor Abravanel, he is a Brazilian entrepreneur, media tycoon and television host. Silvio, as known popularly to all Brazilian citizens, is one of the most charismatic Brazilian media personally. He is one of the most successful and important communicators in the world. He built an empire from nothing because he saw opportunities where nobody else has seen before.

I moved to Canada from Brazil in 2017. Last year, I completed a business program with a customer-service focus at ILAC International College in Toronto. I recently began a sales and marketing program at the same educational institution.

My professional-development goalwhen coming to Canada was to better position myself for opportunities that could combine my Brazilian corporate communication and marketing experience with a client-focused approach for the Canadian market. I previously had six years of progressive experience in public relations, social media strategy and digital marketing in Brazil, including a position with a prominent elected member of the federal government, the Chamber of Deputies.

While I am currently still a member of the Bike Share team while I continue my studies, I hope to enhance my education and experience by joining a dynamic marketing firm that values enthusiasm, team work, innovative thinking and client-service excellence.
